Welcome Dr. R. Singh
Dr. R. Singh graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, in 2008. Prior to that, he completed a master’s program in Neurosciences at Washington State University, Pullman, WA. After graduating from veterinary school, he practiced for three years in a multi-doctor small animal practice in Puyallup, WA. He then moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he worked for 2.5 years in a small animal practice. In January 2014, he joined an emergency small animal practice in Bakersfield, CA, as an associate, where he practiced for two years.
Dr. Singh’s areas of special interest include internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), Indus Veterinary Inc., and Veterinary Public Health (VPH).
In his free time, he enjoys reading, volunteering, and running.
Dr. Uhl
Dr. Uhl graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from UC Davis in 2002. He then went on to complete a Master’s Degree in comparative pathology with an emphasis on bone biomechanics in 2008 and completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 2010.
After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Uhl pursued a rotating internship followed by a surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. During his residency, he served for two years as Chief Resident and sat on the Medical Review Board at the hospital. He finished his residency in July 2014 and worked in private practice in Sacramento before Summit Veterinary Surgery Service in April of 2018. Dr. Uhl is trained in orthopedic, neurologic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures and has a special interest in surgical oncology.
In his free time Dr. Uhl enjoys spending time with his fiancé Courtney, his 3 daughters, and his grandson.

Dr. Karanvir S. Aulakh is a board-certified small animal surgeon with extensive expertise in orthopedic, soft tissue, oncologic, minimally invasive, and neurosurgery. A Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, he is widely recognized for his clinical excellence, academic contributions, and commitment to advancing veterinary surgical care.

Academic & Professional Leadership
Dr. Aulakh served as Tenured Associate Professor and Chief of Small Animal Surgery at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he also directed the ACVS-approved residency program. He has mentored more than 100 interns and residents, rebuilt surgical training programs, and received multiple Dean’s Teacher Merit Honor Awards.
Research & Publications
With over 28 research grants (PI/Co-PI on 19), 26 peer-reviewed articles, and 30+ scientific abstracts, Dr. Aulakh has significantly advanced the field of veterinary surgery. His leadership in clinical trials, including the landmark study on Synovetin OA for canine elbow osteoarthritis, contributed to FDA recognition of innovative treatments.

Gail
Practice Manager
Gail is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and has lived in California for the past 34 years. Gail has always loved pets since a very young age and decided to pursue that love through veterinary medicine. She has been in the veterinary field for a total of 31 years and has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 18 of them. During this time Gail has gained experience working in Emergency, Critical Care, as well as General Practice, caring for both small and large animals. Gail is passionate about offering quality care and compassionate service to all pets and their families.
When not at the clinic Gail can be found working on and around her family property. She also enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She also has 4 dogs, 1 cat & a tortoise at home. Gail & her husband, Damon are planning on adding goats & chickens soon!
Michelle

Michelle entered the veterinary field by accident and ended up loving being able to help people with their pets. She thinks of it like having a therapy session every day, and 6 years later she still enjoys caring for people and their pets more than ever!
Michelle is a master crafter who enjoys watching crime shows with her husband, 9 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
